Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Propulsion AS signed new
contracts with Kleven Maritime AS, Norway ad Rong Ta Trading Co. Ltd., Taiwan,
for delivery of propulsion equipment at a total value of NOK 35 million.

The contract with Kleven Maritime AS is for delivery of a gear ad cp propeller
system with control system for a new seismic vessel for Sanco Shipping aAS. The
vessel is of Skipsteknisk Design, ST 324. The Propulsion system from Scana
Propulsion is a diesel mechanical twin Screw system type EACG 115 TS1250. The
delivery is planned for first half 2013.

The contract with Rong Tai Trading Co. Ltd. is for delivery of a Scana
propulsion system consisting of a twin screw gear, propeller, tunnel thruster
and control system. The propulsion system is an ACG 105 980H. The vessel is to
be built at Jiangdong Shipyard in China. Scana Shanghai Trading in Shanghai will
perform project follow up and start up of the system i China. The equipment is
planned for delivery first quarter 2013.

-Scana Propulsion has established a strong position as a supplier of advanced
and tailor made propulsion systems for seismic and larger offshore vessels, and
is proud to be selected by Kleven Maritime and Sanco Shipping for new
deliveries, CEO of Scana Industrier ASA, Rolf Roverud says.

-In a market still characterized by low contracting activity and strong
competition, it is of high importance to Scana Propulsion to maintain a stable
activity level by achieving new orders. In the global perspective offshore and
specialized vessels show increased activity in contracting, both segments
representing a good potential for the entire Scana Propulsion product range,
Roverud says.

Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Leshan Scana Machinery signed a
27 million NOK contract with the Chinese state owned company Pan Steel.

Currently, nearly 60% of Pan Steels demand for work rolls is supplied by Leshan
Scana.

The Chinese market for rolls has been reduced due to lower activity, which has
resulted in intense competition and lower prices. In this market it is important
for Leshan Scana Machinery to sign profitable contracts like this one.

Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Propulsion AS signed new
contracts with STX OSV Trading and Man Diesel AS, for delivery of propulsion
equipment. The total value of the new contracts is approx 30 MNOK.

The contract with STX OSV AS is for delivery of gear- and cp propeller system
with control system for one Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel (AHTS) for Iceman
AS. The vessel is of STX OSV AH12 design, built for multi role operations in
harsh and arctic areas according to ice class. The propulsion system from Scana
Propulsion is a hybrid system. Delivery is planned for Q4 2012.

Scana Propulsion has built a good reputation as a supplier of advanced and
tailor made propulsion systems for larger AHTS vessels, and is proud to be
selected by STX OSV for yet another delivery to their sophisticated vessels
designs.

The contract with Man Diesel AS is for delivery of a Scana Propulsion ACG
1080 2-speed reduction gear into a Man Propulsion package to the new
Trawler/Seiner for the Norwegian shipowner Herøyhav AS. The hull will be built
at Klaipeda Shipyard in Lithuania, and will be finalized at Karstensens
Skipsværft in Denmark. The vessel is of Karstensens Design, and the propulsion
system is a hybrid system. The equipment will be delivered in Q4 2012. Scana
Propulsion has long traditions as a supplier to the Norweigan fishing fleet, and
is proud to achieve this order for the new "Herøyhav".

The contracts confirm the position of Scana Propulsion as a market leading
supplier of propulsion systems. The market for advanced vessel operation tends
for environmental friendly solutions with high flexibility in operation by use
of hybrid and diesel electric propulsion, which represents high potential for
the Scana Propulsion product range.

The board of directors has on April 12(th) 2012 approved the 2011 annual
accounts. The annual accounts will be presented for final approval by the Annual
General Meeting on May 9(th) 2012.

In 2011 Scana group generated a turnover of MNOK 2.042 and an operating profit
(EBIT) of MNOK -85.

Compared with the preliminary accounts that were published on February 14(th)
the groups turnover has been reduced with MNOK 3 and the operating profit is
reduced by MNOK 4.

The changes are related to inventory and tangible assets linked to our
activities in China.

The Board of directors propose no dividend to be paid for the financial year
2011.

Reference is made to stock exchange announcement of 23 December 2011, where it
was announced that Scana Industrier ASA ("Scana Industrier" or the "Company")
had signed a term sheet with DNB, Nordea and Handelsbanken regarding a SEK 348
million multi-currency term loan and a NOK 280 million working capital credit
facility. Scana Industrier is pleased to announce that the Company has entered
into a loan agreement in accordance with this term sheet. The new facilities
will have a tenor of three years.

Together with the rights offering completed on 15 February 2012, the new bank
facilities will strengthen Scana Industrier\'s financial position and ensure
sufficient financial flexibility going forward. The capital strengthening
enables further development of the Company\'s strong market position, especially
within the energy related market that will be main driver for future growth and
shareholder value.
