Heat treatment

Scana Steel Björneborg supplies a range of different steel alloys which are manufactured to meet our customers' requirements. Many of these alloys need careful heat treatment in order to ensure the appropriate quality and material structure.

We have extensive capacity for isothermal annealing, normalization, stress relieving, hardening, and quench and tempering products up to 24 meter length and weight up to 50 tonnes. We also have capacity for oil hardening and water hardening.
