Scana Subsea  AB was established July 1, 2009, with the aim to coordinate the combined resources of the Scana group within the field of subsea oil and gas production.

The head office is located in Björneborg and the company is headed by Peter Jansson as Managing Director.

Market and customers

Scana Subsea AB will support its customers within subsea oil and gas prospecting and production contracting on the basis of being the main point of contact for the Scana group. The objective is to serve the leading subsea companies world wide with products based on Scanas reputation to handle forged/cast and rolled steels. The company also has highly qualified engineers in metallurgy, material technology and design continiously working with process and product development. This enables Scana Subsea  to meet todays high requirements on the market for oil and gas products.

Scana Subsea will be responsible for the fully scope of the business covering marketing, manufacturing, coating, pressure testing etc . Scana Subsea manufacture products mainly within these three segments:

• Riser products
• XT & BOP products
• Connectors
