Established in 1911, Scana Steel Stavanger AS is today Norway's sole special steel works and one of Europe's leading suppliers of special steel.

Today, the company employes over 200 skilled  employees with thorough knowledge and extensive technical expertise of steel products with high tensile strength, good ductility, abrasion resistance and high corrosion resistance.

Scana Steel Stavanger AS has throughout the years made strategic investments in the organisation and its equipment and has grown into leading supplier of cast, forged and machined products, while establishing itself as an important, worldwide trading partner in special steel products.

The production facility consists of a smelting plant, forge, foundry, heat treatment facility, a machining section and a department for road maintenance equipment.
