SOV - Experience, facilities and equipment

The Assembly And Service Department is responsible for completion, testing, installation and commissioning of machines and systems delivered from SOV. In addition, the department handles all after-market inquiries, as well as the planning and execution of service and maintenance assignments.

Through developing our own products and through the fabrication process and the completion in our workshop, we have gained significant experience in engineering, mechanics, hydraulics, electrical systems and instrumentation. This experience has given us the possibility to offer service and maintenance capacity also for non-SOV products.

We have the essential facilities for service and maintenance on large systems in-house. Our assembly workshop is equipped with 2 off 20 tones gantry cranes, and the flooring is specially constructed for very high loads.

With our three large hydraulic power packs, we can arrange function- and pressure testing, and flushing of hydraulic systems. Our largest hydraulic power pack has a capacity of 200 liters per minute at 270 bars, and is driven by a diesel engine. This secures capacity and mobility for our projects.

SOV can also facilitate testing and certification assignments. We have close relations to the common certification organizations, and SOV is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and NS ISO 3834-2 (welding certification).

Our test equipment is calibrated and re certified annually.
