Scana Offshore Technology is a complete service centre for demanding customer with need for modification, maintenance, re-certification and repair of equipment for drilling and production units – surface as well as subsea equipment.
In addition, the company offers custom-designed solutions providing a complete package for inspection and control. The company repairs used equipment, manufacture new parts, and offer storage adapted to the customer´s requirements – all after agreed standards and documentation.
Scana Offshore Technology provides the following products and services:
Welding, machining, mechanical, hydraulic, sandblasting, heat treatment, material analyse, re-certification, visual and dimensional inspection, NDT/NDE.

AS to welding, the company can provide welding of all kind of services and materials, i.e. strip cladding, laser welding (i.e. of 22 m long piston rods). Piston rods (up to 24 m) can also be thermal sprayed and hardened.
Piston rods which are strip cladded or laser welded with inconell, can be offered with a documented hardness of approx. 430 – 450 brinell.
