Scana Volda is located in Volda, Norway, being part of the Norwegian maritime cluster of Western Norway. Scana Volda (formerly Volda Mekaniske Verksted) was established in 1913 as an engine and propeller manufacturer.
The company has since grown to become a reputable supplier of high quality reduction gears, controllable pitch propellers and remote control systems for the global marine market.
Scana Volda has approximately 150 employees within engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, administration, sales/marketing and after sales support. The company is represented globally by sales companies in Singapore, Shanghai and South Korea, and sales and service agents in strategically important countries.
