Our products can be supplied in pre-finished or finished form with the appropriate surface treatment in accordance with our customers' drawings and specifications. We have the capacity to process ingots weighing between two and 72 tonnes and the machine capacity to process components up to 24 metres long and weighing up to 45 tonnes. This makes us a worldwide market leader. Scana Steel Björneborg AB also has equipment for testing product heat stability.
We use our own top quality steel as the basis for our components. We use both standard and custom analyses and our use of advanced metallurgical technology allows us to offer high-precision analyses. We can supply all types of steel from standard carbon steel through to low-alloy steel with a maximum alloy content of 12%. Our quality system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.
